Health officials in New Hampshire say the contaminated product was served before a recall took effect. At Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, nine people became ill after eating Taylor Farms lettuce from the hospital cafeteria.
In response, Cheshire Medical Center discarded the lettuce involved and temporarily shut down its salad bar as a precaution. Dartmouth Health says it is now working to find local produce sources to replace the Taylor Farms products.
