A Tuesday afternoon collision near the Interstate 91, Route 5 and Route 103 interchange left one person badly hurt and led to a helicopter transfer to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
Emergency personnel were sent to Missing Link Road shortly after 1 p.m. after reports of a motor vehicle crash with someone trapped inside. The crash involved two vehicles and had the force of a T-bone impact, according to Rockingham Fire Chief Shaun McGinnis.
Firefighters had to pry open a vehicle door to reach one of the occupants, McGinnis said. In total, two people were involved; one had minor injuries, while the other was seriously injured and transported by medical helicopter to the Lebanon, N.H., hospital.
