Seasonal Halloween shoppers will soon have a local option again, as Spirit Halloween is preparing to return to Keene next month.
The store is scheduled to open at 464 West St. in the plaza with Kohl’s and Walgreens. A company spokesperson said on Wednesday that the exact opening date had not yet been provided.
According to the retailer’s website, the Keene shop is the only Spirit Halloween planned for the Monadnock Region. Other nearby locations are in Milford, Merrimack and Leominster, Mass. The Milford and Leominster stores are already operating, while the Merrimack site is expected to open in September.
Spirit Halloween typically launches its physical stores in August and September for the Halloween season, though its merchandise remains available online throughout the year.
