Owner Jamie Allen said there is no fixed deadline for finding a buyer and that the shop will keep serving customers for as long as it can.
Underdog Pizza, the Main Street restaurant at 90 Main St., is looking for a new owner, according to a Thursday post on the business’s Facebook page.
Owner Jamie Allen said in a separate Facebook message that the sale is tied to several factors, including reduced foot traffic during downtown construction. Allen said there is no fixed deadline for finding a buyer and that the shop will keep serving customers for as long as it can.
The listing says the sale includes the restaurant’s name, recipes, equipment, supplier contacts, training materials and social media accounts. It also says the lease for the storefront will be transferred.
The asking price was not included in the post. According to the listing, that information will be shared with serious prospective buyers.
Allen said the operation has developed a strong customer base and is positioned for someone else to take over. The business opened as Underdog Pizza in 2022 after previously operating as Amicci’s.
