A Ford Explorer used by the Vermont State Police collided with a Honda CR-V, resulting in both vehicles being rendered inoperable.
A motor vehicle accident occurred on Sunday night involving a state police cruiser in Jamaica, prompting a response from law enforcement officials. The incident took place on Route 100 shortly after 10 p.m.
According to authorities, a Ford Explorer used by the Vermont State Police collided with a Honda CR-V, resulting in both vehicles being rendered inoperable. The trooper operating the police vehicle, aged 31, and the four occupants of the Honda were reportedly wearing seat belts at the time of the incident. Following the crash, all five individuals were transported to a local hospital for treatment of what were categorized as minor injuries.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing, with police indicating that more details will be made available in the future.
