Employees were present during the incident, which was characterized by intense winds and heavy rainfall. One staff member described the storm's ferocity, comparing visibility conditions to those experienced during a blizzard. She noted the overwhelming sounds of the wind and rain along with debris striking the windows.

The storm resulted in significant destruction, including the loss of parts of the building's roof and a hood fan. The most considerable impact was on the walk-in freezer, which ended up damaged beyond repair. In addition to these structural issues, the business also experienced power outages, yet the staff managed to keep operations running by utilizing electricity from a neighboring establishment. 

Despite the challenges presented by the storm and subsequent flooding, Mountain Creamery remains operational, demonstrating resilience amid the damage.
